Great place, very cozy and quiet, worth th the stay for normal folk that aren't loud and obnoxious. Will stay again, because of the the great owners and great spot.
we made last minute plans for camping with the family and when we contacted Northern Bear Paw, they not only had a few sites still available they made it possible for all of us to be next to each other. We found the place to be quiet in the evening which was great. we kept our kids quiet with games and when they hit the sack the adults had a chance to enjoy some adult beverages and visiting around the campfire. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for camping as it should be. we had to check out early and the owners even offered a refund for the unused days. this is unheard of in todays camping circles. we asked for credit for some days in October instead and they said that would be fine.
My husband and I stayed last July and were very pleased with everything.the owners were very cordial. A very beautiful and quiet place to enjoy the outdoors. Just a note after reading one of the few negative reviews I would tell anyone who's idea of a good time is drinking and getting a little rowdy, this is not the place for you. The majority of the patrons are older and the owners are very serious about making sure the campground is quiet and peaceful. For those looking to camp in northern michigan i highly suggest northern bear paw.
Excellent campground!!! Best we have ever stayed at. Not a single thing to dislike or want to change about it. The people are Exceptionally nice, grounds are clean and lovely, bathrooms are spotless and even have Soft water. Far more than 5 star worthy. Will definitely camp here again!!!
Cleanest bathrooms of any campground i have ever seen! Quiet at night. Very friendly owners and fellow campers. Nice trails to roam!
